* New Schedule*
In an effort to make our class more efficient I am proposing a new schedule for us. Since I am reflective, we will try this for 21 days. If it works-great. If it doesn't we go back to the drawing board. Essentially skills learned and class format will be the same, but we will become more purposeful with our work.
Schedule:
Monday- Friday
Word of the Day:
Write the Word
Define the Word
Use the word in a sentence and in your writing
Know the meaning
Multiple Choice Monday- Multiple Choice Practice on essays we've discussed. 10 -12 questions. You track and score.
Rhetorical Terms Tuesday- 1 to 2 terms will be explored from your flashcards. You will look for examples and incorporate in your writing.
Writer's Workshop Wednesday- Essay Writing and Prompt Writing. This may bleed into Thursdays.
Thematic Thursday- Discussions and Readings around the Unit Theme
Freedom Friday - Independent Reading
